On Monday 02 July 2012 we published links to Ngāti Kahu’s responses (including briefs of evidence from Lloyd Pōpata, Hully Clarke, Bernie Butler, Yvonne Puriri and Margaret Mutu) to the submissions of the Crown and its allies opposing our application for urgency against the Crown’s ddeds of settlement with Te Aupōuri, Te Rarawa and Ngāitakoto; in so far as they prejudice the interests of Ngāti Kahu. On Wednesday we received notification that Te Aupōuri objected to large sections of those briefs of evidence. And yesterday we received notification that the Crown had done the same and had invited the Tribunal to strike the briefs of evidence out on the grounds that they contain new material and are not limited to responses.
Today Ngāti Kahu filed a response to the Crown and Te Aupōuri objections.
