ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS & THANKS

The karanga went out, and Ngati Kahu responded with a roar over 3 days of inter-marae competitions, kid’s playing and learning, parents and kaumatua cruising, music, sun, sand, surf, fun, laughter and whanaungatanga. Homegrown Ngati Kahu mahi toi, waiata toa, kapa haka, taa moko, mirimiri, rongoa, kidzone, kai, kakahu – tau ke!
No Crown agency, other than the local emergency services, present at our event. Just affordable Ngati Kahu home-styles with us doing our own thing and tau iwi welcome to spectate that. Nga manaaki me nga mihi ki a tatou katoa.
We cannot thank enough our wonderful and generous sponsors, the organising committee, the working group, the kaimahi who worked tirelessly behind the scenes throughout the 3 days, and most importantly, the 1000s of whanau and hapu who turned up and turned on the magic of Ngati Kahutanga.  Couldn’t and wouldn’t have done it without you.

Karanga Tokerau will reconvene in the first week of January 2013.
MANY THANKS TO ONE AND ALL
