"HIKOI AGAINST CHILD ABUSE IN KAITAIA"

Kaupapa highlighted by the recent high profiled 'Indecent Assaults'
on tamariki in Kaitaia.

Rueben Taipari - We have to do something about these assaults on our tamariki in our community. This hikoi is probably the most important one on a personal level we will ever do..

Lissa Kingi-Waiaua - "It is up to us as parent's to carry our tamariki's voices, it is up to us as a whanau to keep them protected, but it will take a community to put an end to these indecent acts".

3. Decision on applications for urgent hearings against Te Aupōuri, Te Rarawa and Ngāi Takoto Deeds of Settlement still awaited

4. Ngāti Kahu travels to Wairarapa to commemorate Te Kotahitanga and Te Paremata Māori, 29 September.
