We are happy to write with some good news.
It was announced on 4th November 2014 that our Chair, Professor Margaret Mutu, has been awarded a significant grant by the Marsden Fund to do groundbreaking research on the treaty claims settlement process.
We received word today that one of our former Te Runanga-a-Iwi o Ngati Kahu Trustees, Mason Williams of Toatoa, has passed away.
We will update details of his tangihanga as they come to hand.

With a heavy heart we announce that Jesse Maheno passed away on Monday 3rd November 2014. He is now lying on his home marae, Te Paatu. At this stage his whanau advise the funeral is planned for Thursday. We will update details as they come to hand.
